A new way of seeing...

The vessels below started out as crafted utilitarian objects which have since adopted aspects of art/sculpture. The holes are puncturing the status of the vessel and by displaying the pots in multiples, they form their own narrative with regard to interior/exterior negative space.

Much happier...

The shape for me has become more intriguing. I wanted the viewer to see a classical shaped pot, be lured by its familiarity but become aware that the maker is challenging convention.

Change of direction...

Grecian urns as opposed to modern urns proved more inspirational.
